During the development of the Green Energy Corridor for Schiphol in Zwanenburg, we supplied temporary scaffold structures during the construction of a new 50kV inkoopstation.
The project took place in an exposed construction environment with changing weather conditions, where safe access and controlled work zones were critical for follow-up disciplines such as electrical installation teams.
The assignment focused on delivering stable access at multiple heights while protecting critical components during key stages of assembly.
We implemented a combined approach: complex scaffold setups around the installation and a full shrink-foil enclosed work area to support assembly under protected conditions.
This combination enabled electricians and other specialists to continue work with better control over moisture, wind exposure, and contamination, while access routes and work safety remained consistent.
The delivered structures made it possible to carry out installation activities safely and according to plan, despite challenging outdoor conditions and high technical requirements.
This project shows how scaffolding combined with shrink foil adds direct value in critical grid infrastructure projects, where progress and quality control must be maintained together.
