For this maintenance assignment, we installed a custom scaffold structure inside a large feather processing tank to provide safe elevated access to the upper rotating crusher shaft for inspection and replacement.

Scaffold Access Above Floor-Level Conveyor Shafts

Install Method

The main screw conveyor shafts are positioned at floor level and transport material through the tank. The upper crusher shaft therefore required a stable elevated work position at the correct maintenance height.

We built the scaffold system directly above the lower conveyor shafts, with protected walkways, guardrails, and controlled working platforms. The setup was adapted to limited maneuvering space and the technical geometry of the installation.
